UA vs. Florida

We got tickets to the Bama vs Florida game.  It was fun to go down there for a game and watch the Bama Boys stomp all over Florida.  We had good seat and could see everything just fine.  We got to watch the Walk of Champions, which I had never done before.  We also went to The Bryant Museum.  I had never been to it either, and it was really neat.  Here are some pictures from our day.

 We also went to the Alabama vs. Georgia State game. BUT, I have no pictures because my camera decided it wanted to mess up. :( Anyways, we had a blast at both of them and can't wait to go to some more.

Rafting in NC.

Bryson City, NC, Oh so fun.

In July we went to Bryson City, NC to go white water rafting.  It was so much fun, even though Byrd threw me out of the boat and we ended up with our boat completely flipped over.  We went with Byrd's aunt, uncle and little cousin.  We rented a cabin and stayed the whole weekend.  If you have never been up there I highly suggest it.  It is a neat little city and so fun.

And on our way home we saw this. 

It was a great trip and we had so fun. I can't wait to go back.  The only thing is the water stays around 42 degrees all year and it takes your breath away when you hit a wave. Especially when you get tumped over, cough cough Byrd.

Girl's Platter Swap

Last night we had a Platter Swap for our December Christmas Party! It was so much fun, we all brought appetizers and a platter and we played Dirty Santa with the platters.  We had a great time and had a bunch to laugh about.  We had it at Jami's house this year, so us 7 better be deciding who is going to have it next year.  Oh, we also decided to start a bunco group on the first Friday of every month.  We are SOOO excited.

My Bestie Friends!!!

We'll start out with my birthday! I came to hang out with my best friends from high school, you know those ones you keep forever! Jami and I hung out and then we went and ate at a place I miss a lot not living in Birmingham, Sol Azteca. Yep, Ashley and Jami embarrassed me by making the band sing to me and taking pictures of me. Yes, I look terrible, I had only taken a shower and nothing else.

This is at rare martini, I don't know what was up that weekend, but it was dead, so we left and went to Innisfree and listened to this really fun band!

All three of us besties and me with my bday crown on.  I feel as if 25 is a bad number, I mean really? I'm 5 years away from 30 and that really scares this girl.

Then can you believe that I talked Jami into coming to see me in Tuscaloosa, home of the Crimson Tide? Yeah, me neither, but she drove out of her comfort zone and came and saw me and we had a BLAST!!!! I love her SOOO much.

This is me, Jami and my friend Erika.  I met Erika about 2 years ago and we have stayed friends. We had so much fun dancing that night.  Can you tell, we were all glistening!!

This is a joke! I was standing behind somebody, HAHAHAHAHAHA! I bet that was Jami's idea that I do that. 

I am so THANKFUL for my best friends.  They are for a lifetime and I will always love them and I always have so much fun with them.  Even though I dreaded going to Vestavia when we were moving, I have made some of the best friends out of the experience.

This week is of course THANKSgiving and I will do a Thanksgiving post later.  I have a lot to do before I go see my family in Russellville!

Blah Blog!

I know, this blog stinks! I made a scrapblog and its super cute, actually I made two! But when I called my trusty friend Allison she was already in the bed! What, its 8:40. Well she and her husband are in Knoxville for one of his training classes and so it was 9:40 there. Whoa, they go to bed EARLY!

This post is going to be purely random!

So hopefully tomorrow I can get to talk to her at an early time and I can figure out how to do this. I mean seriously my minor is Computer Science and I can't even figure out how to post a scrap blog. WHATEVER!! I am SO ready for this weekend as the #1 CRIMSON TIDE take on the Ugh Volunteers, ewww that color is just bad. I have complete faith in my team that we will pull out another win! It will be super crowded once again down here, and I will once again have to walk a mile to get anywhere, but that's okay, I will just get one of my great friends to give me a ride back to my car later. Haha.

So, I have officially taken my fake nails off to let my real nails breathe, well I've had them off for a while now and today I painted them a really pretty pink to match my toenails and sitting here trying to figure out this blog thing, I have already messed them up. Lovely, now I'm going to have to be my impatient self and redo them and sit there and let them dry!

I wish a cute boy didn't have a girlfriend! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I found this quote earlier, " I love that whole princess mentality, but also I like throwing my hair back (which I can only half way do now) and just wearing jeans and a tshirt." I think that quote was talking to me!! I could also add the no make up thing cause natural beauty is the best, right?

I have missed the bloggy world and am glad to be back!

THIS IS ALABAMA FOOTBALL!!!!

One of my best friends from highschool came to visit me this weekend and we had the best time. Friday night we went to Rounders and danced the night away. There is only one picture on her camera and the rest from Friday are on my friend Erica's camera.

Then Saturday as we were getting ready to go to the quad we decided we really wanted to go to the game, so Ashley's dad got us some tickets and we thank him VERY much for them, because we had an awesome time and they were pretty good seats.

Saturday after the game, we went back to Rounders for more dancing and had a fabulous time and the Sunday was a day of rest for the work week ahead! I had SO much fun and can't wait for her to come back. Although we missed our other buddy Jami, except she was in that Terrible Town they call Auburn. I have missed blogging! But that's a wrap on my lovely weekend I had with Ashley.
